Marc Pro - Strava

Local non-profit, Truckee Trails Foundation, is setting 2012 off on-stride with two board of directors from the Marcpro-Strava cycling team. Andy Scott (two-year TTF board member) and Matt Chappell are psyched to get new things moving and aim to help raise substantial funding in 2012 as well as creating a stronger presence for the area's trails and the organization itself. The Truckee Trails Foundation is drawing focus this year aiming to raise substantial funding needed to complete major bike-ways in the North Lake Tahoe/Truckee area. Look forward to a heavy push this year towards funding the remaining few miles of the Truckee River Legacy Trail as well as a few other bike ways connecting to communities like Tahoe Donner and many others within the Brockway area. This bike way circuit is known to many as the Truckee tri-fecta. Recent board of director additions include Andy Buckley of Northstar Ski Resort, Steven Poncelet of TDPUD, Matt Chappell of Orbital Laboratory and many more incredibly talented individuals totaling 15 motivated board members. Stay tuned for an action oriented advocacy team during 2012.
